Thousands of colorful t-shirts, this year will be blue, invade downtown and the streets of the city of Florence for a morning of healthy physical well-being and with the beneficial aim of helping to improve oncological care for breast cancer.

CORRILAVITA 2017 is a fundraising event sponsored by Bona Frescobaldi, initiated in October 2003 by an idea of Natalie Rucellai and Neri Torrigiani, to help realize and qualify Florence’s public health facilities specializing in the fight against breast cancer Whose implementation is organized by the Organizing Committee of the CORRI LA VITA Onlus Association.

Already from the first edition CORRI LA VITA has thrilled Florence – the first six years in the square of Santa Croce square, now starting from Piazza del Duomo and arriving in Piazza della Signoria – and since then it has been a crescendo of adhesions that have come to beyond 35,100 for the 2016 edition.

Over the past 14 years, around 4,500,000 euros have been collected and over 269,100 members have been involved.

The event takes place through a double path – approximately 5 and 13 km. – and it was born as a moment of sport and culture but, above all, of social commitment. A unique opportunity to have fun and get in touch with a reality that accompanies us every day.
