De Luxe Rooms

The De Luxe Rooms located on the Piano Nobile of the Villa and also on the ground floor have an area of more than 25 square meters, up to 35. The characteristic note of many of the De Luxe Rooms is, above all, the truly unusual view not only of the hills and the principle of the city, but also of the facade of the church of San Miniato al Monte, the hill of Arcetri, home of the Astronomical Observatory of the same name and of the famous and "infamous" history of the Torre del Gallo and the Gallina where the important cycle of frescoes with the mysterious Dance of the Nudes, painted in 1465 by Antonio del Pollaiolo, for the brothers Jacopo and Giovanni Lanfredini, friends of Lorenzo the Magnificent, is preserved. Villa Gallina was also the site of a beloved stay of Galileo Galilei.

Those on the ground floor are characterized by their very large volume, the result of the unusual height of the vault of almost 6 meters where the entrance hall used to be. There is also one with a double access: the first independent in the main hallway of the entrance staircase to the Villa, the other from the North Garden through the central corridor of the ground floor. This feature ensures its accessibility for the handicapped.
The en suite bathrooms with a wardrobe closet, shower and/or, washbasin, toilet and bidet, are equipped with a convenient magnifying mirror and useful hair dryer. They are provided with fine towels, bathrobe and slippers, soaps and toiletries with "toiletries set" and stool.
